If you like collectible book memorabilia and you live in the Manchester area, then you are in for some fun! I spent all of Monday driving round six different bookshops, breaking in (through their open doors) and sneakily hiding 12 items of treasure in random copies of One Seriously Messed-Up Week.
Each item of treasure is unique and signed, and, if you’re lucky, there could be something else in it for you too! But before you can begin the hunt you must first crack the cryptic enigma code clue things to know where to look…

There. Try and work that one out!
I owe a BIG ‘thank you’ and a little ‘sorry’ to the above stores for what I did in their lovely cosy shops, all in the name of balls to the wall, adrenaline fuelled, testosterone packed action, in this here video…
So, all you northerners, get hunting now! Because you probably have only 10 or 11 months before those 12 books get snapped up! When they do, if all goes to plan, you’ll hear about it here and over at Atom‘s blog. Happy hunting!
Having trouble finding any related posts... stay tuned.
I have never wanted to live in manchester so much! I now get what you meant by “crawling about” at work!
Fabulous idea and the video made me laugh out loud (or “LOL”, as I believe the youngsters call it).
Thank you! (I think you meant to say ‘you youngsters’ though, right?)
Yeeees… that’s exactly what I meant… *shuffles*
I’ll have you know it’s only been 15 1/2 years since I was 15 1/2!!!
